Many music lovers are familiar with the Goldberg Variations. But who is behind the name Goldberg? To what extent does this work have to do with the insomnia of a count? What is the secret of the special beauty of this music and why is it humorous despite its complexity? Is there a connection between the Goldberg Variations and other piano works by Bach, such as Partitas, Sulten and the Well-Tempered Clavier? Bach's piano music will be played live and commented on.
